Jackson Township is a Township in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the township population was 42,816. Jackson's most famous attraction is Six Flags Great Adventure, which as of spring 2005 has the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world: Kingda Ka. Jackson is also home to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags Wild Safari.

The racial makeup of the township was 91.26% White, 3.90% African American, 0.13% Native American, 2.06% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.97% from other races, and 1.67% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.78% of the population.
